Knapstein began in 1954 - back then in a small shoemaker's workshop in the centre of Sundern in the Sauerland region. Cultivating the fascination of light in its most beautiful form and moulding it with master craftsmanship has been our mission ever since. And today, more than 70 years later, we can proudly look back on an impressive development.
