Idea

One Event – Many Locations

The Lichtwoche Sauerland does not take place at a single venue – instead, it unfolds directly within the showrooms of participating companies. With its organizational hub in Arnsberg, the event extends across numerous locations throughout the region – from Sundern to Werl, from Meschede to Wadersloh.

The aim of Lichtwoche is to give industry professionals direct insight into new product lines, technological developments and market trends – in close dialogue with manufacturers on site.

Since 2022, the event has been held annually.

Responsibilities

Many Minds – One Vision

The Lichtwoche Sauerland is organized by the Lichtforum NRW – in close cooperation with an elected speaker panel drawn from the participating companies. Together, they shape the content strategy and coordinate key aspects of communication, programming and event planning.

Concept – Experiencing Products Where They Belong

Concept

Experiencing Products Where They Belong

During Lichtwoche Sauerland, participating companies open their premises to professional visitors to present their latest collections and product lines. Exhibitors without a regional base can also take part by setting up temporary showrooms. This decentralized concept was developed by industry representatives in collaboration with the cities of Arnsberg and Sundern – a region with a particularly high concentration of lighting manufacturers.

Instead of traditional trade fair halls, visitors experience the products where they are developed, produced or distributed. A joint event program and a cross-company marketing strategy connect the various locations into a coherent overall experience.
