2027 will be Lichtwoche again.
The next Lichtwoche Sauerland is in the calendar: From 28 February to 4 March 2027, the industry’s leading brands and manufacturers will once again open their doors. And while there are still a few months to go, preparations behind the scenes are already underway for one of the highlights of the spring season.
In 2027, Wolf Hustadt, a highly experienced and well-connected figure in the lighting industry, will take on the role of spokesperson for Lichtwoche Sauerland. Together with the exhibitors and the working group, he will use the coming months to help shape the event’s strategic and thematic direction for 2027.
At its heart, Lichtwoche remains what has made it successful for more than two decades: a joint industry event hosted at the companies’ own locations – personal, focused and right in the heart of one of Europe’s most traditional lighting regions.
We are now beginning to put together the line-up for 2027. Companies and brands from the decorative residential lighting sector interested in being part of the next Lichtwoche Sauerland are warmly invited to get in touch with us.
We look forward to familiar faces, new names and a strong Lichtwoche 2027.

Perfectly round
During Lichtwoche Sauerland, participating companies mark their exhibitions with the illuminated Lichtwoche sphere at the entrance. It serves as the visible sign of official participation and helps visitors find their way on site. Lichtwoche Sauerland is a collaboratively supported format. Only the companies listed in the Lightguide and on the visitor ticket are official exhibitors of the event. Through their participation, they provide the contribution that makes the organization and realization of Lichtwoche possible.
For visitors, this creates clarity and reliability: wherever the Lichtwoche sphere is illuminated, Lichtwoche Sauerland is taking place – including all associated services and amenities.

#LWS App Updated
For Lichtwoche Sauerland 2026, the #LWS app has been enhanced with new features designed to support visitors throughout the week. With LUZI, a digital assistant is now available to answer brief questions directly within the app – whether about exhibitors, locations, or organizational details. Information is provided quickly and conveniently, exactly when it is needed.
In addition, the new Exhibitor Updates allow participating companies to share current information during the week. Visitors can stay informed and adjust their planning as needed. These new features offer additional orientation and make it easier to plan your visit during Lichtwoche Sauerland.
Both functions are integrated into the latest version of the #LWS app - for iOS and Android available.

Showing Heart
The Lichtwoche Sauerland has stood for many years not only for professional exchange, but also for social commitment. With the initiative “Ein Herz fürs Hospiz” (“A Heart for Hospice”), the event has, since 2015, combined professional encounters with a clear sign of solidarity in the region. As part of the LightNight, the illuminated heart pin will once again be distributed in 2026. It symbolises a small gesture with a meaningful impact. Thanks to the voluntary support of participants, more than €35,000 have already been raised in recent years for hospice care in the Sauerland – supporting institutions that accompany people in the final stage of their lives and rely on additional donations.
Especially in a market currently characterised by restraint and carefully considered decisions, it becomes clear that responsibility does not end at the exhibition stand. The Lichtwoche Sauerland sees itself as a platform for orientation – and at the same time as part of a region that stands together. With “Ein Herz fürs Hospiz”, the LightNight thus remains not only an evening of exchange, but also a visible sign of shared commitment.

Lightguide 2026
The Lightguide has always provided a clear point of entry and has long been a reliable companion to Lichtwoche Sauerland. It presents participating companies with their locations, contact details and thematic focuses in a compact format – clearly structured and easy to grasp at a glance. In 2026, the Lightguide is not being reinvented, but continued in a new form: as a digital flipbook, it still allows for calm, intuitive browsing while being implemented in a resource-conscious way. Visitors benefit from quick orientation without having to navigate through menus or layers – a solid basis for individual planning of the Lichtwoche. The digital Lightguide can be used independently of location and device and links its content directly to further information.
For more detailed planning, the #LWS app complements the Lightguide throughout the week, offering AI-supported route planning, a favourites function and up-to-date information. This provides visitors with different ways to orient themselves, depending on their needs and personal working style.

Our Hospitality
The Sauerland stands for openness, short distances and a special kind of hospitality. Anyone travelling to the Lichtwoche Sauerland should feel well supported not only professionally, but beyond that as well. For a pleasant stay, the Lichtwoche Sauerland therefore provides registered trade visitors with a hotel voucher worth 50 euros (limited availability). This voucher can be redeemed at the partner hotels of the Lichtwoche Sauerland.
A good reason to extend the stay. Embedded within the Lichtwoche is the LightNight, which deliberately creates space for personal exchange. Culinary highlights, music and a relaxed atmosphere provide the right setting for conversations beyond the showrooms.
In this way, the Lichtwoche Sauerland combines professional orientation with an environment that facilitates encounters – and with the ambition not only to welcome guests, but to accompany them well.

Light it Up!
This is where conversations continue — and new ones begin. On the evening of the LightNight, exhibitors, trade partners and guests come together to deepen impressions, maintain contacts and create new connections — beyond schedules and daily agendas. Dialogue becomes more open, thoughts flow more freely, perspectives broaden. Existing networks are strengthened, new contacts emerge through conversation in a relaxed atmosphere.
Once again, the LightNight combines exchange with enjoyment. Culinary highlights, music and a distinctive setting create a framework that inspires without demanding attention. An evening that leaves space — for encounters and for sharing the experience of Lichtwoche Sauerland.
“Light It Up” is both the motto and the invitation of LightNight 2026.
Let’s bring the day to a close together — in conversation, in exchange, in light.
