Bright Lights ...

and Satisfaction 2022

17.03.2022

A week full of sunshine and luminous exhibitions has come to an end. The 10th edition of the Lichtwoche Sauerland was once again a complete success and the concept once again offered great added value for customers and exhibitors. Many visitors traveled to the beautiful Sauerland not only from Germany and neighboring countries: customers from Iceland, Cyprus, Estonia, Pakistan and many other countries were also welcomed. This once again proves the established importance and industry position of the trade fair-like event.

But not only that: the 35 exhibitors confirmed the indispensable need to talk to their customers face to face, to present the materials of their products directly and to let the atmospheric impression of the light do the talking. Of course, the overall mood was correspondingly subdued due to the current events in Europe. "The many sufferers do not allow us to speculate on economic consequences at the moment. However, inflation is a given and a clear factor that will be felt in consumer behavior," said Lichtwochen spokesman Wolf Walter Hustadt. "The prices for electricity, gas and fuel are alarming. A decision in favor of efficient products - in the case of our industry LED lighting - is thus no longer just a contribution to the energy turnaround, but is directly noticeable in a lower electricity bill."

In cross-company cooperation, a joint summary is now being drawn up for the annual continuation of Lichtwoche Sauerland. "After the Lichtwoche is before the Lichtwoche. The speaker baton will be passed on and the framework set for a Lichtwoche in the spring of 2023," says Dennis Köhler from the organization team. "In this way, we not only strengthen the region, but also offer all industry participants an excellent platform for the exchange of innovations and trends," concludes Wolf Walter Hustadt. "A date has not yet been set, but will be announced as soon as possible. Then hopefully without the restrictions and against the background of fewer crises."

Lichtwoche 2022 attracted almost 3.000 trade customers to the exhibitions - a balance that was predictable against the backdrop of the prevailing pandemic.
