The so called "Lichtwoche Sauerland" is a trade fair, that is driven by some companies of the lighting sector. The trade fair is characterized by a somewhat "different concept": Usually companies display their products in an exhibition hall. But during the "Lichtwoche Sauerland" each company will open its own showroom for business customers to inform them about new products and collections. Thus business customers will shuttle from showroom to showroom and from company to company. The convenient aspect about this concept is the fact, that all companies are close by. The "Sauerland" is well-known by its dense allocation of companies of the lighting sector.
 
The "Lichtwoche Sauerland" is turning into its sixth edition in 2013.
Initiated by local companies, who are offering decorative residential lighting primarily, the "Lichtwoche Sauerland" is becoming more and more also a trade fair for companies who operating in the field of technical lighting i.e. office, school or outdoor solutions.
 
For a whole week the "Lichtwoche Sauerland" offers an opportunity to showcase new products. One highlight of the social program is the "Night Light".
This Party offers all participants enough space and time to relax and chat, enjoy and celebrate. In 2013, the "Lichtwoche Sauerland" is providing the possibility to get an overview about luminaries by interested customers of the public sector for the first time. In the framework of a so called "market place" each participating company will show a selection of products. This "market place" can be visited from Monday, 03/04/2013 to Saturday, 03/09/2013 at the "Kaiserhaus", Möhnestraße 55, 59755 Arnsberg by anyone who is interested in luminaires. Opening hours for the "market place" 10:00-14:00 and 17:00-19:00.
