“Clear the way for the artists” – this will be the slogan of the “Sauerländer Leuchtenzirkus” on 12th and 16th March 2009 on the Hüstener Riggenweide. On these both evenings, the guests of the Lichtwoche Sauerland are taken on a journey into the exciting world of Circus.

Right in the centre of Hüsten, the famous Circus Roncalli will pitch its circus tent and provide  unforgettable impressions to the attendees. At 18.30 o’clock, the guests will be welcomed with an aperitif and magician Charly Martin, who always amazes his audience with incredible conjuring tricks.

After this welcome, the guests are escorted to their tables into the interior of the tent, where the exceptional performance will start at 19.00 o’clock with magician Charly Martin. Afterwards, the audience can enjoy the first culinary highlight – the starter – before they plunge into a world of acrobatics, pantomime, buffoonery and dance – presented to them by a multitude of top-class artists. The first hour of this fascinating programme will pass all too fast, however, the next culinary delectation – the entrée – is served.

Afterwards, the fast-paced show will go on with sensational aerial acrobats, excellent comedians und impressing jongleurs. To crown it all, after this fireworks of circus, artistry and tricks, the guests can enjoy the dessert buffet. 

While they give in to this temptation, the circus ring changes to an enormous celebratory ground. At about 22.15 o’clock, the “Firebirds” will come on the stage and care for everybody bringing oneself  in motion and celebrating with true party music until deep into the night .

This sensational potpourri of gala-dinner, circus performance, vaudeville and party will leave a deep permanent impression on the guests of the Lichtwoche Sauerland 2009, so that – for sure – the can hardly wait to join the next Lichtwoche.
